During the trailer launch event of the upcoming action thriller 'Animal,' Ranbir Kapoor unveiled his intense character, drawing parallels to his late father, Rishi Kapoor. The star-studded event in Delhi saw Ranbir, Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol, producer Bhushan Kumar, and director Sandeep Reddy Vanga dressed in matching black attire. In the gripping 3-minute-32-second trailer, Ranbir's portrayal exhibits a profound fierceness stemming from a turbulent upbringing, depicting an obsessive affection for his father. His character fiercely shields his father's love, issuing threats to anyone obstructing their bond. Reflecting on his role, Ranbir reminisced about his father, citing, “Whenever I met Sandeep Reddy Vanga, I always told him to give me a reference. I have never heard or felt like this. I think eventually subconsciously, I thought of my father, the way he used to speak, he was a very passionate and aggressive man.” Helmed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, 'Animal' also stars Anil Kapoor in a pivotal role, revolving around the dynamic father-son relationship essayed by Anil and Ranbir Kapoor. The trailer highlights Rashmika Mandanna as Ranbir's romantic interest, while Bobby Deol portrays the antagonist, exuding style and menace.
